Service Description
This course will prepare you to offer your clients the best in the IV Hydration and Infusion business. You will learn the different micronutrients, their benefits, dosage, as well as the formulas that will best serve your clients, and how to individually create IV cocktails based on your client's needs. You will also learn contraindications, and protocols in case of an emergency. We will provide you with the necessary forms to manage your business in a safe and professional manner. You will have a clinical practice hands -on, and access to suppliers and pharmacy representatives.This course will train you to provide your clients with top-notch IV hydration and infusion services. You will learn about various formulas that are best suited for your clients, and how to tailor IV cocktails to meet individual needs. Additionally, you will gain knowledge about contraindications and emergency protocols. We will provide you with the necessary forms to manage your business in a professional and safe manner. You will have access to clinical practice and suppliers, paving the way for success in the IV hydration and infusion industry.
Cancellation Policy
Policy: 1. Course Prerequisites: a. Students must be at least 18 years old. b. Students must have a valid identification document. c. Students must have a medical background (e.g. RN, LPN, EMT, Paramedic). 2. Registration: a. Students will register for the course through an educational institution. b. Prerequisites will be verified before registration. c. Registration must be completed online or in person at least 24 hours before the start of the class. d. Full payment is due 48 hours before the class date. 3. Class Attendance: a. Students are expected to attend all class sessions. b. If a student misses a class session, they must make up the session at a later date (if available). c. Failure to attend all class sessions may fail to complete the course. 4. Equipment and Supplies: a. The course will provide all necessary equipment and supplies for IV hydration therapy. b. Equipment and supplies will be sterile and meet industry standards. 5. Infection Control: a. Students will be required to follow strict infection control guidelines. b. Gloves, masks, and eye protection will be worn at all times during practical training. 6. Supervision: a. A licensed healthcare professional will be present at all times during practical training. b. The instructor-to-student ratio will be 1:10 or lower. 7. Evaluation: a. Students will be evaluated on their knowledge and skills throughout the course. b. Written and practical exams will be administered at the end of the course. c. Students must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass. 8. Certification: a. Students who complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. b. Certification will be valid for 2 years. 9. Continuing Education: a. Students will be required to complete continuing education requirements to maintain certification. b. Continuing education credits will be awarded to those who complete the course and have a valid RN or NP license. 10. Cancellation Policy: a. Cancellations must be made in writing (email or in person) at least 48 hours before the start of the class. b. Refund of deposit will not be issued since we hold the student’s place. c. You will be able to use your deposit for the next scheduled class period. d. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the class for registrations paid for in full. e. If the class is canceled by the instructor or educational institution, a full refund will be issued.
